Anyone remember the Diplodos? That's one of my fave theme tunes along with Trapdoor and Count Duckula.
Ulysses is pretty good too.

Don't know the theme tune for some of them in the poll but I'd have to put The Greatest American Hero as my favourite. In fact I'm in the process of downloading all the episodes now. In second place would have to be Grizzly Adams.

They don't make theme tunes like they used to. I think only Enterprise at the moment has a song in the tune.

Magnum PI or McGyver are probably my faves.

Damn you michaelknight you got there before me. McGyver is definately my favourite. I might sometimes tune into Bravo just to hear that tune....and to see that enormous mullet.

As for cartoons I'm surprised nobody has mentioned MASK. That was the one I remember most, though the lyrics are long gone to me now

Michael Knight, judging by your name how come you didn't pick Knight Rider as your favourite?

All the choices are for old tv series. Is this because we were kids at the time and had a ****e taste in music and it's just nostalgia that makes us remember them fondly? Are there any decent themes in any current tv programme? I watch less tv now but still I can't think of any programme at the moment who's tune will be remembered in years to come.
