    Got this SERILLEL2 thing with my Abit motherboard. Its suppose to allow you to "Upgrade your ATAPI device to Serial ATA".

    It says it supports ATA100/133 hard disks, no problems there but the likes of optical drives and ATAPI Boot Devices it gives a warning "Compatible with SATA Controller of Silicon Image on motherboards only".

    Where would I go to find out if my Optical Drive is compatible?
