MORON? Yes, I do play an instrument, bass for 15 years, guitar for 13 and drums for 7. I play metal and jazz mainly, though can usually adapt to any style as necessary. And you?

Take away the singing and RATM and Audioslave are largely the same quiet verse, loud chorus, minor scale riffs, obligatory effects-laden solo, etc. Put Zack on Audioslave music and it'll sound like RATM. Only the singer has changed. I hope this doesn't cause you to spill your cup of tea.

Real music are bands like ratm, in flames, tool, radiohead, metallica, audioslave, soundgarden, slayer. And calling me a teen rocker - if i was 13 would that mean my opinion of music doesnt count? You are using the fact that i may be younger than you as a way of dismissing the argument - as if my tastes in music are irrevelant because i may be younger than you. Like musical taste and knowledge comes with age and your theory is proved wrong by the fact you are older and the bands you like suck and you are again a tosser. And im not 13 im 17 f4g

Music is a matter of personal taste, and we're here for a discussion of that personal taste, not a slagging match. I have some pretty strange taste in music, I like a good Haydn Symphony with my RATM but if someone came in here and said "I prefer Audioslave, but at the end of the day Avril Lavigne rocks" I'd quietly laugh (and watch the poster get flamed by all the Cradle of Filth fans).

You don't have to have an age to enjoy music, the taste is yours and it makes you individual. I prefer RATM, because they were quite a lot more original with a sound that hasn't been replicated before or since, and while Audioslave are very good, they're a bit too close to the same oul' same oul' for me.
