When I click shut down on my computer it waits about 20 seconds and then a message comes up saying NVIDIA TwinView Window is not responding, end task, wait or cancel. Then I click end task and another message comes up saying explorer has caused an error in unknown, Explorer will now close. A message comes up for every running program saying that it is going to close and then I get a black screen with a tiny white horizontal line flashing in the right corner. I have to then turn of the PC using the power button, this can't be good for the computer.

    Whats the problem?

I have no idea, but I'd be inclined to start by reinstalling the Nvidia drivers. Before you do that though, these things nearly always happen for a reason: Did you upgrade the Nvidia drivers recently? How about something else? Service pack maybe?

I was going through the DirectX Diagonosis Tool about 2 weeks ago and on the display tab it recommended that I get a new WHQL logo'd driver from the hardwarew manufacturer so I downloaded a new drover but it is not logo'd either. Is that the problem?
