I know i did it before but can't remember does anyone know how to foramt a c: drive that uses windows 2000 and ntfs... cheers.

How about booting from the Win2k CD and using the repair console to do it?

install it to fat32 and convert it after.
convert /fs:ntfs i think thats the command in dos

Ranish is a usefull utility for formating, unlike fdisk it will see every partition on the disk.
