I ahve a chaintech socket a mother board with an athlon xp2600+ and I'm told I need to update my BIOS.I'm running windows xp.Now the site tells me to download the new bios and press ALT+F2 when the comp is booting to enter the bios flashing program but there would seem to be no suce program.Other than that it says to boot to dos and use a flash tool and the new bios.
But win XP wouldnt seem to let me boot to dos.Do I need to use a dos boot disk and the follow this procedure.
Whats the easiest way to go about this.

    I agree with Cr3m0,
    however you do need
    1/ a boot floppy
    2/ an unzipped bios update
3/ The bios flashing program itself
