Demote a BDC to a standalone server ?

Anyone know how to demote a BDC to a standalone server ? I need to get it off the network & force a namechange. I've tried changing the SID but it won't allow me to change the name of the system, I really don't want to have to re-install...

i have the microsoft util to
downgrade a PDC to standalone server

presume it works on BDC
its freeware
