where can i get this cable in ireland, ive seen a site where there svideo to scart cable guarantees colour output. hopefully a similar product is sold over here

They sell a Universal DVD to TV Kit. Picked one up earlier in the year for about €15 afaik. Very reasonable. Kit contains:

Scart Adaptor
2 Phono to 2 Phono lead
2 Phono to 3.5 mm stereo lead
svideo to svideo lead

so plug in svideo to your tv out on graphics card, 3.5mm to your sound card and the other ends will fit into scart adaptor which will plug into your TV, VCR etc

Produced reasonable quality colour tv picture for me
