According to the Irish Independent, financial advisers to Eircom are assessing a possible stock market flotation of the firm in the second quarter of 2004. Increasing confidence in global stock markets, a resurgence of telecom stock valuations and Eircom's planned return to the mobile sector next year have prompted the company's finance advisers to consider the implications of launching an IPO next year.
