Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I may be off the mark here, but for some sublime Psychedelic sounds check out Hawkwind or early Pink Floyd or Brian Eno or...

    Am I showing my age?

Ahh, the floyd and hawkwind true pschedlia! Pure class music - i love floyd have all their albums and the stuff that roger waters did - class tunes.

But if you want really really good psy trance check out GREEN NUNS OF THE REVOLUTION on FLYING RHINO RECORDS - some amazing tunes that will have you in bits! My personal favorites: KLUNK & ATOMIC ARMADILLO

    http://www.gnoosic.com/

great site for finding music in a similar vein to stuff you like, tell it the name of a few artists you like, and it'll throw names at you, it learns from your input, it seems to be very good at picking dance/electronica. I've found a lot of good stuff through it

Live wise you cant beat getting ureself up to belfast and going to the Bloop City events which are mainly psy-trance. Run by the slan bigots and one of the best dance music nights in ireland.

On cd in terms of just psychadelia you can do worse than monster magnet and the verves early albums.

In a similar vein, it's Moon Emotions' (Oskar Sanchez' monthly Psytrance event in the Red Box) anniversary this month, make sure to check it out if you're in Dublin.

There's always Platypus records- it's just one guy under a thousand different names far's I can tell.
Old school acid "goa" stuff- some of it's quite dated now but there's some classics like Union Jack's "Cactus" which is one of the best trance tracks there is IMHO.
