    the only prob is that there are too many great bands out there...
    my favourites are (i will limit the list to five... well maybe ten...)

    the beatles (obviously)
    queen (again obviously)
    ststus quo (how come hardly anyone named them???)
    bob dylan
    pink floyd
    U2
    the rolling stones
    ac/dc
    oasis
    the darkness
    electric six
    and anything by john lennon
