Well I'm sure you're all very excited about the news that we are returning to the airwaves. Here's one for you... It's Friday the 18th, just gone midnight... what should the first song be? Any ideas?

Remember the NEW frequency 97.3!!!!

im so excited!!
all going to plans, that night im going to be so strung out i wont be able to hear, but hmmm, at midnight i have everyone forewarned that we're all going to gather around the radio, huddling together for warmth, as if it were wartimes, and listen- listen good, as if our very lives depended on it. keepin that in mind, i feel the first song should be one of the following:
*feel good hit of the summer-QOTSA
*day job-blo.tooth (juno falls now.. why?)
*revelate-frames
*uncle joe's mint balls- sinister p
*everlong- foos
*brown bear-66e
*something new&suitable composed by some willing&deserving band/musician, if s/he/they could rise to the challenge, some sort of.. phantom song??

OK so you're all proud of the fact that you play about 99.7% Irish music and such... and playing Juno Falls or somebody would be lovely and all but what about Guerilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine.... Not exactly the kind of music Phantom is reknowned for but I think the sentiment is pretty apt...:D

Atough I love thin lizzy I think boys are back in town is way to obious. Rock and roll radio by the ramones is the best sugestion yet.

If it's Irish then A Place For Everything by Future Kings of Spain. Can't think of a better rocking start to the legit phantom. Also thought Guerilla Radio by RATM was a great choice. Thin Lizzy is definitely too obvious.
