Just found this link on my travels http://cybercaptive.com/

Didn't realise there were so many cybercafes around Dublin... But what is an IceBox?

The iceboxes are just independant terminals that can be set up anywhere, on the street, in a shopping center etc.

Theyre not really cyber cafes but are a way to access the net to send or receive email or even surf the web for a few minutes if you're bored.

I suppose you could describe them as a cross between a telephone booth and a netpc.

Yes they are exactly what Vex said they have a few of them up in the Blanchardstown Centre its £1.00 for 10 minutes n'stuff i often walk past and see ppl on porn so i guess it has no protection against porn plus they have a really annoying logitech mouse built in.

    Nada Nada Nada !!!!

1.00 for 10 mins.. that's almost as cheap as your phone bills cheeky.gif

I wonder if they have some sort of camera in them though, or how they know who was up to something? The only one I've seen was when I was in Dallas airport, and the only thing stopping me messing with the internals was the fact I had to swipe my credit card to get access.
