The Science Dept. and Maths Lecturers

Ok so today i had my first maths lecture of the year.
And She's only temp ( she's the one about to drop a sprog ).
It seems that there is a shortage of lecturers this year and well,this year goes towards my degree.
So here's the problem:i'll have an exam on maths in April ( i have work experiance this year too) and i've already missed a months of lectures.
So who do we go to to complain about this?
Or Who else is pissed off over this?

Presuming go to science head ... or just your year head ?
they have to take that into account when exams are on etc. though - they can't just screw round with the course & then mark you down for their incompetance

We dont have a maths lecturer yet.
David kelly is our course head and he said that the time which has been missed will be taken into account when they are making the exams and that the fact there is less to study will make the exam easier on us!!!!
What a crock of ****.

/Least it means more time in bed

Ruaidhri as far as i know it's Diarmuid O'Se who is taking feed back from our course this year..... he is the one who we have to e-mail if we wanna join that student courses panel thingy.

I actually meant to do that but i forgot,
anyway i think his address is just O'Se@it....etc but you can search pegusus (SP?) for it anyway!

You could sue the college for breach of contract

Has been done before in cit and they won
Sue the college for in adequate tuition

Did you pay 670 yoyo's, or 1000 yoyo's for the reg fee?

Cos for that amount, you should get wot u payed for!!!

That is not true,

U dont have Margaret Power for Maths do u?

Get a good argument together and go to course head thats what they are there for and they will have to do something about it,
They tend to be good at getting things done when they need doin:)

i was informed today that we are losing Paul Barry as a lecturer too!

i say we just leave it!! i dont like mats anyway and ive failed it last 2 years runnin!

they cant test us on something we didnt do, therefore easier to get diploma! plus i wont fail 3rd time in a row!!!

Yes it did happen, business lecture told us we where doing contract law and such. But I’d say goto your head with a good argument like moonbeam said and go through the proper channels and then if all else fails sue :ninja:

But am I thinks you look at the college charter and find students entitlements and in there, there should be some thing about tuition ask the su I guess you basically just need some one who’s motivated enough to keep the pressure on the college

well we just had our new lecturer.seems ok but it's over a month and you know the story...
HaVoC: Can you get the name of that student? Or where would i go to get info about the case?

And yes i paid reg. fees.
