Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is RTE1 on reduced power, rebroadcast feed or broken?

The other 3 from Woodcock Hill Repeater Limerick are fine. RTE1 is very noisy almost unwatchable.

It isn't beyond the bounds of reality that I have messed up something at my end, but the other three are virtually DVD quality.

    N2, TV3, TG4 are perfect

On RTE1 I'm losing colour and the sound "crackles" as it swaps back and forth from Analog FM Mono to Digital Nicam Stereo.

    Any ideas folks?

where do they take the feed from? maghera, mullaghanish, cairn hill or is it a microwave link?

No idea but Mullaganish is, was or will be on low power according to page 530

Woodcock is fed from Maghera. Even if Maghera was on temporary low power there ought to be ample signal there for a good quality relay.

BTW Watty do you have a masthead (or other) amplifier between your antenna and TV? It may be acting up i.e. oscillating and interfering with the colour subcarrier (you say you are losing colour). Do any neighbours (who RX Woodcock) have any problems?

I'm losing colour and Nicam on RTE1 TV as the signal is so weak.

Net2, TV3 and TG4 are perfect like "superbit" DVD from same aerial and mast amp.

Most neighbours use Family pack Sky for RTE or don't watch RTE at all, watching Chorus MMDS.
