Question is Chaos, do you HAVE to use Esat during the day at 3p per minute or can you just use your old telecom dial in which is 1.5p and 1.3p per minute if you have the number in your friends and family? tongue.gif

Surely this means you'll have to get an esat phone line installed?

I thought they'd sorted out the cable bundles so that other companies had access to the hubs as well (something to do with the monopoly laws). If so, then ESAT could just take over the existing phone line , maybe switch the hub setting or routing or whatever it's called.

    hmm, indeedy,
i thought you had to change the whole phone line to esat.
i mean its a bit stupid to get a phone bill from telecome for the phone and then one from esat for internet.

so i take it you do have to change to esat phone? and what does that entale anyway, do they just stick a new contraption on yer phone line or something?
and would that add to your ping?
i mean the ping on the line should be the same as now, i guess it just depends on what the isp is like
    am i right?
    or wrong as usual?
