Borrowing €15,000 - Best Place?

What is the best way (i.e. cheapest) to borrow €15,000 over approximately one year. The borrower would not have any property to secure the loan on. Would the cheapest way be a simple personal bank loan, or are there possibly any better alternatives?

Credit Union would be likely to be the best place. You'd have to have been making payments in for a few months before you could take out a loan though.

Yeah, possibly CU. Otherwise stick with banks (shop around and get payment protection), not the small money lender types or the ones that advertise on day-time TV.
