Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I case you havent head Charles Mbabazi Livinstone St. Patricks Athlectic's Ugandan International has had to retire at the age of 24. He collapased at the pats bohs game last friday with chest pains and was rushed to hospital.
a few days later he had to retire from football under doctors orders he turned 24 on saturday. The club are going to keep him on in a coaching and promotional role so at least he wont go poor. Its tragic for such as a young and tallented player to have to retire at such a young age.

Keith O'Neill has retired at the age of 27 too, on account of being constantly injured, according to the Irish Times.

As for Livingstone, it's terrible for him to have to retire at that age due to a heart condition, a similar thing happened to Kanu when he was 20, although Inter can obviously afford better specialists and surgeons than St. Pat's...

It's terrible he was one of the most exciting players in the Eircom League. 24 is just far too young to have to stop. I really feel for him and Richie Sadlier.

At least Keith O'Neill got a bit of a career and was very well paid.
