    My computer has gone haywire. every time i turn it on and boot into xp pro the windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen doesnt start properly. When i hit control alt delete it tells me that explorer is using 100% of the cpu!!
    I tried restarting and closing explorer and re opening it using new task but no good - its still gone mad,
    What should i do - any idea's??
    I dont want to format the hdd

    Get the latest service pack or increase virtual memory.
