I don't know how many of you have come across this but I received a letter recently from the Domain Registry of America (a private company who register domains - see www.tolsonmessenger.co.uk/resource/news/03-10-05.htm). What I am wondering is how did they manage to get my postal address?
A whois (of kbannon.com) returns little information, never mind the address.
The domain was registered by the host (in my name) when I got the webspace.

Depends which whois you use. try http://resellers.tucows.com/opensrs/whois/
    It returns an address

aah I see - I usually use the netsol.com or internic.net whois services (both return nothing)
