Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

City battered us for the last 20 mins and the unpredictable Paulo Wanchope did his Heskey impersonation throwing himself to the ground, Bridge was skinned by Phillips on many occassions, Cole and Mutu caused the City def havoc. I think the diamond would have suited us better today Veron wasn't in the squad Ranieri still not happy with his level of fitness and it wouldn't have been his cuppa tea game anyway.
It wasn't pretty but its 3 points.

    :)

How did Cole do? Is he in with a good chance of making the left wing his own?

BTW-How do you get to see all Chelsea's matches?

I listened to it on Radio 5 live but I'll see the whole game on Mon on CFC TV.

Joe did well and got a standing ovation but we were exposed on the left and right alot as he was moving to the free role alot of the time, still Duff is the man for that pos.
The goal: Mutu got to the byeline crossed hard seaman hit it off JFH's knee and in from 2 yards.:D
Melchiot and Jesper were appalling (bar one great run resulting in a shot being saved) and I wish Bridge would learn how to bloody tackle.:)

I'm being a bit harsh on Mario he did make one blunder which should have been costly but Glen J has that berth.

Was that not the crowd cheering when Duff came on, so it said on skysports anyway.

cole was pretty poor yesterday, as always he tries too hard, takes a touch too many and gives away possession. for most of the game chelsea couldn't find another blue shirt in midfield, our clearances became more ragged as city put us under a lot of pressure in the last 30 mins, but it wouldn't be chelsea if you didn't expect them to throw away the lead, ranieri invited city to come at us really as midfield went deep (er) and huth came on. Gronk was having a really bad day, didn't seem like he wanted to try his usual runs , possibly because melchiot was behind him and wasn't coming up in support very often.

btw. the standing ovation was a combination of relief that cole was going / for cole + joy to see duff getting on.

What the hell, 3 more points in the bag!

Joe Cole will have to work on the def side of his game Frank brought that into his game after he joined.
Coley was involved in the goal his ball to Mutu was sublime.
