Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone else get a copy of this?

I now have speed and power equal to Anubis.

Ive been playin it for 7+ hours now. Great game.
So much faster than the first, and harder.

    Opinions?

I played it a bit when I was in Japan. From what I saw, it was really cool... very nice graphics and gameplay, cool anime scenes in-between, and great music too...

    I'd buy it if I had a PS2 :(
I know about 3 people that have it though..

    absolutly fantastic game.

it impoves on the original in every way. however the translation is diabolical. breath of fire 2 and zero wing had beter localizations that zoe2. im just waiting for nohman to say all your base are belong to bahram :) the graphics are stunning, the pyrotechnics is eye popping, the subtle cell shading on enemies and explosions works perfectly. the game is fast, hard and utterly relentless. the bosses are brilliant. level design is excelent(the train). the soundtrack is brilliant especially the opening theme. slowdown can be a bit annoying but it only happens when something really really really big blows into lots of very small peices.

the only major gripe is that just like all kojima games its too fecking short. shame its not going to sell though, cosidering the first was only bought by people to play the metal gear solid 2 demo and it came out the same day as soul calibur 2.

still playin, 8 hours now, on Normal level.
Yeah, this is the game ive been waiting for since I finished Z.O.E (2 years ago I think?)

I still think some people would have difficulty completing it on normal level.
I can complete Z.O.E, on Super Hard in less than 3 hours, without retrying once, and I still struggled on some parts of this game.

Its a system of try, try and try again.
The game seemed to move very fast though, none of the flying around on world map style gameplay from ZOE 1.

On a side note, ive only seen this game in 1 shop, ever!
It couldn’t find it in game, smiths, HMV, virgin etc etc.

Eventually, I found it in a local shop called mc kenna electronics, for 55 euro.

    Highly reccommended.

They really made a huge improvement over the first game. Every section of the game plays differently from the last one and the bosses are fantastic. Some of the levels are just eye-popping. I spent almost 350 yoyos on my new radeon and nothing I've played on my PC can match the pitched battle towards the end of the game. The difficulty has been upped but it doesn't disguise the fact that it's too short. Still overall a fantastic game.
