Yes it should be in bazzar but

    a) I'm too lazy (I need a helper monkey)

    b) Nobody goes there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 483 ✭✭Helv

Actually it could be PC-100, I'll check and post it sometime tomorrow.

BTW can you check for PC100 RAM in the BIOS setup?

(thats only the 64meg tho, the rest are 66mhz)

So Sam do you want to buy it? It is 100MHz, but if Dan replys to this before I leave today its his. He asked for it last week.

    So whats your (best) offer?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,341 ✭✭✭Koopa

right my best offer is 35 quid, cos i know where you live and am relying on this fact alone to scare you into giving it to me for that price.

oh yeah lucutus,i was going to say about £125 for the chip, then i saw theres actually no point in this cos in order to get a good chip back(p3-450), id have to spend 160 sterling anyway

wow how did you read that?

gfx card is nvidia riva tnt, if youre still interested

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,831 ✭✭✭Lucutus

    How did I read it?

Well, let me see, it all started about 20 years ago...I was learning the alphabet and one day got a little book....'Little Words for Little Kids', it was one of those books that had the really thick cardboard pages, remember them? Anyway, over the years I built on my reading skills and now I can read most words and sentances...unless, of course, they're posted on here by that other guy who can't punctuate his typing.

So when you posted that and I refreshed my page before you got back in to edit it, I was able to read it with ease, due to my 'Little Words for Little Kids' book.

Cute story huh? Not really relevant but thanx for the interest in my reading skills! wink.gif

Hmmm, yes interested indeed Koopa, of course you realize I'd be haggling on the price, but I wouldn't mind a look at the system to check it out.

I want something fast enough to go with my P3 on a 'bedroom LAN' smile.gif

Wahhhhhahahahahahhahahahahaha, Sam I'm breaking me sh!ts here. Sorry £35, ehhhhhhh nope, scratch that.

Thats slightly under the price I was thinking.

Dont think just because I know you I'm not going to treat you like a muppet from Buy and Sell!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,341 ✭✭✭Koopa

heh niall, i wasnt really serious anyway, just chancing it

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 483 ✭✭Helv

Still available. 1x64meg 100mhz and 3x32meg sdram dimms.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 483 ✭✭Helv

Well I remember when 4meg was £130, so that means, 64megs will cost.........carry the one............£2080.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,657 ✭✭✭OSiriS

Well my knowledge of RAM prices at the moment is next to nil, but since 128mb dimms are going for about $120, how does £20 each for the 32mb chips sound, though I'll need to check my machine first to see how many I'll take...
