Hi, can anyone tell me if there is some magic way to view websites that are currently blocked by my companies firewall? For starters boards.ie is blocked, but I would also like to use www.e-mailanywhere.com to check my pop3 e-mail while in work. I have heard of a program called http tunnel, however I'm not to sure if it would be a wise idea to install a program that has the potential to get me fired for breaking the rues - or is it very stealthy? Does anyone else here work for a large corperation that blocks certain sites, and have a way to get around it? We are alloed to surf the web in work, and you can do what you want on breaks/after work etc, but the above mentioned websites are the only ones I want and are blocked. Any ideas?

Try to chat with someone from IT dept., casualy at lunch... or maybe someone older in the company, that's amazing the thing you learn about a company in the canteen!

They can easily filter the http request by keywords (hotmail, mail, jobs, sex, double-penetration,...) or list of websites... boards.ie might do something wrong for the productivity!? :D

You can try to cheat but you might get fired...!
