hi im passing a value through to a html page using the get method can anyone tell me how i simply grab that value using javascript eg www.myutl.html?searchvalue=demo how do i grab demo in my js on myutl.html?? tnx

It involves breaking up the URL that was submitted to the page. There are plenty of sample routines to do this for you!

var query = location.search.substring(1)
