Javascript/DHTML Help - Suggestions!

I'm looking for some code that will enable the following to happen:

I place a link/text on a page:

E.G. Desription of www.Boards.ie

This is all the user sees until they click it or a button beside it.

The the page will reveal the decription:

E.G. Desription of www.Boards.ie
This is an Irish forums site... . blah blah

I want this to happen with a few things on the one page without me having to make new pages for each one.

Can anyone help/point me to a script?

You could use some clever HTML and put a title tag into the href, which would give a description of the link when they mouseover.

If you look on http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ you'll probably find something closer to what you want.

should be easi-ish to figure out

this toggles a single layer only and it can't change its own layer afaik.

changes layers thru a sequence 1,2,3 but the link isn't within the changed layer

if you want the layer to change with a new next layer link in it, have a go at adapting the above and if u can't, get in touch and i'll pack it up and send what i deved from the second example

Thanks for the research - that site looks neat with the cam revealing the info, I'll see how I do with the other script first.
