Eircom fixed line SMS

Has Eircom launched it fixed line SMS service yet ?? If so does anyone know of any PC software than can be used ( via a PC modem/ parallel port) to capture an incoming messages on a fixed line ? Are there any alternatives to using the Eircom Phones to receive such messages ?

There is some text pad devices and standard phones (not dect) on sale in lost of the big eletrical stores, for 40/50 quid, havent seen software yet.

I have the Siemens 4012 phone that they have been advertising heavily. Rarely use it for SMS though! It doesn't have the predictive text so it's a bit of a pain to use!
