Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blegh beards. Not comfy when smooching. Unless you look bad without one just get rid of it.

So yes post a pic we'll decide then hehe

    Yeah

I'd have thought for things like mowing the lawn, a beard could really be ... unpleasant.

I like my goatee and I've never had much in the way of complaints :p

    I have a beard.

    I like it.

I really don't care what anyone else thinks. Although most people seem to think it suits me.

I'm told short beards lead to beard rash, which is unpleasent. Longer beards, however, are, according to female sources, "nice and soft and fluffy".

    Go figure.

Women will never admit it but subconcsiously they all go for beards. They're awkward while "mowing the lawn" alright but if you're aware it is there it doesn't make any serious difference I've found. Probably swomething to do with the whole 'Manly' thing they're so fond of.

I found my beard bumped me up a couple of notches with the women after I grew it.

Most have whinged about it at some stage, but thing is, there's been far more round to do the whinging. ;)

Although I find it has to be well kept. Like really well kept. Or else you just look scraggley. Or something.

I love my scratchy beard. :)

I have a beard, it could be considered unkempt ,it passes the taliban test (on its way to passing two taliban tests tbh)
like sarky : I like it, I dont care what other people think.

I have a fine bushy bead ..kinda ZZ Top style...women dont' like it as I am always getting pieces of meat and chopped veg snagged up in her....
Was lighting a tab recently and she caught fire ...nearly burnt the chops offa me and the beard looks like the San Bernardino area of LA... all burnt bits and charred wood....

My advice is go clean.... Make line one .....I had a fine....

    beards are bad.

Then again I always find myself half way towards a beard due to my laziness...but from my experience with women I've found that they normally dislike anything more than slight stubble. Oh and nobody tell me they know loads of women who like beards - I'm talking about good looking women

then again who cares....just do what you want. If you like a beard then why not have one? Also, a beard will not hold you back in any way. While women mightn't like beards, there's very little chance of any girl ever saying "Oh I liked him but he has a beard so I don't any more".

also...angelofdeath...just wondering what the problem is with posting a pic?
haha, lol, lmao - eh no

    Beards ?..

I like my beard. Had it so long that Gillette really hate me. Lovely and warm in winter as well.

Although, I must admit. Its the women with beards, that I find a real - turn off!.:p

LOL - Have to agree, tho' I haven't met any yet :D atleast until there's a new Sky Reality TV Women with Beards show.

    /Me:
    Baldy face - 1/2 day
    Shadow face - 1/2 day
    80s stubble - 1 day
Rugged guy** (LOL) - 1 day
Stereo typed homeless person - N days
    ... and the cycle continues

** This tends to get the on the street female check out looks (hey its better then being totally ignored ;)), thou I do recall overhearing a "too rough and ready" comment a while back - oh the irony!

    D.

Depends on the beard and the person, some guys look well with a beard and others just look manky. I never used to like beards but a while back changed my opinion.

Short beards are horrible and beard rash is one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had personally and is a major turn off.

Longer beards are as Sarky said soft and fluffy and are nice to play with.

Don't just grow a beard for the sake of it or coz yer rebelling agains the system or whatever, make sure it suits you.
That's what I'm doing and my "shmig" is coming along nicely at this stage :)

Used to have a goatee beard years ago, thought I was great with it.

Then one day went into work and the then Boss turned around and said "The last time I saw one of those it didn't have teeth in it...."

I shaved the bugger off that night!!!!

Beard rash happens when a man's beard rubs against someone's skin. You may experience this at one point in your life by
    a) having a facial hair and giving rash to someone
    b) having a man rub his beard against your skin, caressingly

Not sure which though, I'm not Psychic.

I don't care if the ladies like it or not, once I can grow the connecting pieces I'm going to grow one of those sideburn-joined-on-to-a-mustache things cowboys used to have.
