Microsoft Passport keeps personally identifiable record of all websites visited

I just came across this report on an FTC investigation into the operation of Microsoft Passport. The investigation found that Microsoft maintain personally identifiable records of each and every website a Passport subscriber visits!

One can't get support for Microsoft products without signing up for Passport.

What an appalling abuse of monopoly.

Far more than unfair - it is data privacy rights fraud!

Look up the stickies for XPspy and / or get a firewall and spybot / spyware blaster too.. to prevent leakage in the background.

Note: if you book a flight to the US then a lot more data will be handed to non-goverment agencies..
