Does anyone know of any online payment systems that allow you to make payemetnst and withdrawals from an Irish bank account - along the lines of paypal? Alternatively what is the best way I can allow people to make credit card purchases of my software via the internet?

    Thanks in advance,
    Duncan

Discussed a number of times before. ISTR something about it being available for Irish Bank Accounts in 2004. This was the most recent thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=102760

Search this forum/the whole of boards.ie for Paypal + Irish or Paypal + Ireland

    Hi Adam-
Thank you for your email. We don't have plans to launch a site in
Ireland at this point in time.

    Hi there,

With your decision to locate your European operations in Ireland and the
recent launch of your UK website, I'm wondering if you intend rolling
    out an
    Irish website anytime soon?

Also, can you tell me if XXXXXXXXXX, the registrant of PAYPAL.IE, is
    a
Paypal employee; and if not what measures you will be taking to take
    control
    of the domain name?

    Thank you,
    Adam Beecher

Surely all that is needed is a service in Euros to cover the entire Eurozone area? Payments of up to about €14,000 across the Eurozone are now either free of bank charges or at most cost about 50c.
