I know where you can get pace modems

    Anyone want to know where you can get pace modems ? PC Peripherals in Stilorgan, phone number in the book somewhere may have one or two in stock, if not they can order one in for you, but be quick, mate of mine got one there yesterday, external for £115 incl. vat, not too bad considering I got my internal one for £90.

    i went in there for a scsi cable.
    first i was told ones for pc and mac are different-there the same.
    then i was told i needed an ultra wide cable-i needed a narrow-then i was told they had them-they didnt.
    i think the lady in there aint too bright.

    Thats their April/May price list as well still up on the site, so they probably want your first-born child for 256 megs of RAM at this stage.
