Request for Poker forum

Any chance of a poker forum guys, under sports. I'm an avid Texas Holdem player online and in the Merrion Casino on occasion and if there are any other avid players out there it would be nice to discuss tactics/strategies/competitions etc. Cue mockery about foolish gamblers etc.

Amp, RogueDotc and I have been playing in the flat for the last while (I'm losing my shirt currently). This sounds like a great idea. There was some talk about a competition a while ago but it went nowhere without a forum.

A poker forum would be cool. I play on Ladbrokes.com all the time (6hrs a day) - great stuff. I have done Texas Hold'em strategy guides etc before so I would gladly share them etc.

Also if you are looking for a mod then I would volunteer

I went to a poker tournament organised by www.poker.ie, very good fun and well organised, but haven't heard anything since, I think they're having trouble getting a venue with a licence and stuff.

I'd definitely be interested in a poker forum, and a Boards poker session.

How would it work though? everyone round to someones gaff with cans? what about chips?

Cash me in, pockets rockets, the nuts, all in, etc.

I'll see this forum and raise it an endorsal of it's service and or product. But will there be anything to talk about? I certainly won't be giving any tips (/me clings hand to chest). I mean if we're organising a poker tourny Boards Events could handle that no bother.
