Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Web Based Mail Blocked

    Howdy folks,my college server has unconveniently blocked out acess to web based mail servers like yahoo,hotmail.whereas before i could acess them after 6 o'clock now all access is denied,this sucks so can anyone suggest a way to bypass this ??

    there are plenty of ways to get around those web filters..

    you could try a little harder and google a bit..

    proxy is the most obvious and easiest choice..

    u dont have the permissions on your profiles to modify proxy navigation.

    we in the degree lab do.. :-)

    so we simply turn off the proxy and let the dns translations propogate throgh the routers and not through the proxy (which is where the content filtering is located).

    there running microsoft ISA server (internet security accelerator)..
    and its very secure..

    more reliable then the norm.

    only 1 exploit ever found for ISA server as far as i know.
    and it was patched 6-9months back
