    Do american gameboy carts work on european machines and vice versa

    american carts worked for gameboy color so i think it should be the same for the GBA

    Yup - Japanese too. Neary all my GBA games are either American or Japanese.

    European games work on an american gameboy as well i assume,YAY my mom goes to nyc tomorrow,this is against th rules but if anyone want a cheap gameboy tell me and i will arrange it

    As far as I know there is no region lock on the game boy. So it's all good.

    You can get replacement chargers and battery packs for the SP in game now, in case you cant find a european charger online.
