Privileged enough to have been a pupil of his at St. Patrick's Cathedral Grammar School. Fantastic teacher. Didn't pay much attention to the ciriculum but we still learned a hell of a lot. A special treat for first years was every Friday afternoon he would re-enact the story of Fionn Mac Cumhail. To see a man in his late 50's with TB in one hip requiring him to wear an extended height shoe along with a walking stick. Class. Hell of a temper as well. And God bless his Valda pastilles which he was always only too willing to share.
