    If I was mod, I would delete this thread and make my own first post.

    now stay on topic muppets.

    Has a charter been done up? I liked Bonkeys suggestion of not turning this into a cut and paste piccy forum.

    That'll ensure two things:
    1) Very little content in here since there are relatively few artists on the boards;
    2) Any good cartoons on a political subject seen by anyone won't get put up here and so may be missed by a good swathe of people.

    Personally, not having any artistic talent worth thinking of, but coming across good political cartoons all the time, I'd find myself reduced to totally passive lurking here.
    'Course that's just me...

    Anyone hear the story about the cowboy, the Minister and the €15 million grant for Punchestown?

    The funny thing is that government ministers are calling for better standards when deciding on capital projects. ;)

    PS guess who's looking for cutbacks for the Estimates...

    Posting a URL to the original location is not a breach of anyone's copyright.

    Why don't we all just go read the Onion right now.

    I've never really seen any website apart from America's Finest News Source that carries political cartoons/images and is both free and funny. Private Eye doesn't do L'Interweb, This Modern World isn't actually all that funny, and The Evil Gerald is no longer updating , more's the pity.

    I don't understand why the board is called "Political Satire". Satire is invariable political and the board is, like, /under/ Politics? Hello? Is there a risk that people will click on a Satire forum and think "omfg, I thought this forum was going to be about angry seating"?

    This is partly satirical. But only partly.

    satire should be easy here except we have to listen to politicians anybody hear noddy noonan admitting that he has spent 4.5 years trying to get €800k to rebuild 6 burnt down rooms in a speech therapy clinic in Limerick? then he discovered the Dept had been paid the insurance money several years ago!
    and he expects to be reelected!:D
