dvd driver problem

I reinstalled windpws xp pro just there and my zip and cdrw are working fine, but whenever I try to use my dvd drive it crashes my system, could it be a driver problem? would reinstalling the driver software help it? Hertz

Have a look at the dvd player properties in device manager .... you may have to set a region on the DVD player ... I know I have to with my LiteOn any time I reload windows

No, my region is set at region 2 like always. Device status says its working fine. ????
