I've gotten the go-ahead from DeVore to being work on the redesign project (as documented in my little manifesto). I'm heading it up.

The first thing that needs to be done is to form a core team. This is the team that decides (based on examination and discussion) what needs to be done, why it should be done and how it must be done. And then does it (or at least prototypes it).

A larger team will be drawn up at a later date to implement the recommendations of the core team.
