Canned Goods 99

I like names that need explaining. Here goes. In 1939 before the invasion of Poland Hitler had a plan to have Polish prisoners dressed up in Polish army uniforms, poisoned and then the bodies shot and layed out for the press to photograph. These prisoners were to appear to be Polish Army that attempted to attack a german radio station and this would then give him a better excuse to invade. These unmittingly disguised prisoners were referred to as "canned goods" by all Nazi top secret documents on the matter. Nice nasty background to the name and after all most players are guaranteed "Canned Goods". I thank you!

What ever name we end up with make sure its A little bit serious, because its almost impossible to get Sponsorship with stupid names.
When a certain company was approached for sponsorship, they more or less laughed in my face when the heard the meaning of QP2. We need to make the new name sound as if its more of a Games Convention rather than a number of people just playing games.

The muppet show for sponsor ship is not good lads.
The dubLAN is good and I like IreLAN. These sound a little more serious and will make it alot more easier for companies to take the tournament a bit more serious.
