Wireless routers with Netopia modem?

    Hi all,

I did look through the previous postings but didn't see much mention of Eircom's current modem offer.

So if I get Eircom's current offer with netopia modem (USB and Ethernet ports), free installation (ie diy) and free month's rent... then

What kind of wireless equipment could I connect to it? Can I simply connect a wireless accesspoint to the modem ethernet? Will that allow me to use a desktop PC and a laptop together, or would that require NAT (network address translation). I guess the question is how does the IP address get allocated?

    Ix.
