    Ok cheers for the help. I was reading up on pc4000 and it might not be such a good idea with a high clock P4 like the 3.0ghzP4 i'm getting. They recomended getting pc3200 or pc3700 instead.

    Just looking for the best performing ram for my set up.

    i wouldn't get too bogged down in it though anything from the good ram manufacturers and you won't notice the difference.

    well, if there isn't a huge difference in cost, u might as well get the pc4000, there is no problem running it at pc3700 or 3500 all the time.

    If you are not overclocking, the best ram is probably the corsair LL, which is basically ram with very low latency settings
