loading MPG into flash

    I want to load an MPG into my flash exe! however the MPG is to remain outside the exe or swf all the time. ie just loaded when needed!
    Is this possible or do i need to go to Director?
    are there any complications in doing this?

    as in when someone clicks a scene it opens up an mpg?

    yes, when some one clicks a button then it loads the MPG into a scene

    Cant be done. (dont know about in flashmx 2004)

    You will have to either get it to open the .mpg externally with a link that opens it in windows media player

    or

    Convert it into a .swf file (flashmx or later) and load in the .swf into the .exe when needed.

    or

    Get a program like flash studio pro to make your .exe (free)
