Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ok - this ones slightly off topic but its really ****ing me off.. i have a motorola external 28.8, and i'm stuck with a dodgy phone extension cable (have to get the right angle b4 it will work ) anyways, i connect get full 28800bps but within 5 mins im disconnected.. everythings fine up to then.. this happens 4 or 5 times…

i have a motorola external 28.8, and i'm stuck with a dodgy phone extension cable (have to get the right angle b4 it will work )

anyways, i connect get full 28800bps but within 5 mins im disconnected.. everythings fine up to then.. this happens 4 or 5 times before its stable, but then if i play quake.. i can play for 5 mins and im gone again.. need to redial.

its probably something to do with the dodgy phone cable, but i mean its fine except for quake, i need my quake!

happens to me with my laptop's modem...
no matter what phone/isp i try the connect is dead after about a max of 20 minutes
really ****ed me off
stupid 56k upgraded 33.6 internal laptop modem thingy.
so now i have to use a 33.6 to dl crap
still that doesnt answer your question tho
but its most likely not the cable.
