TV over PC

scuse my ignorance but was just wondering if its possible to use those TV tuner applications on PCs here - I know you can in the UK, but can you still pick up the various stations here as well?

Yes, you'll need a TV card but you should get the whole range of tv stations. RTE/BBC/UTV/SKY/MTV and you can even get the encoded stations ....but i could never find software that would decode them for me.

But then again,. it would have been illegal if i did.

BTW i use the Pinnacle PCTV card in my PC.

I have an all in wonder but cant really recieve anything - dont matter tho cas im gettin a sat card soon!!
