    just came across this while I was looking for a cheap PC case for a system I'm building.

    http://www.lupo.co.jp/advertis/ccpc/index.html

    now there's cheap, and there's cheap. then there's this:

    I reckon that's just a little too cheap.

    wouldn't want to use it with a water cooled setup would you!

    If I'm looking at that right it says the price is 9,800 Yen which is just over 70 euros?

    Quite pricey then for some ugly pieces of cardboard :)

    Brings a whole new meaning to cheap pc's

    "My PC is so hot it burns the side off the case, literally"

    huh? couldn't get www.xe.com/ucc (currency converter) to do the maths for me, so just assumed it was a really cheap case given it's made of cardboard.

    ohwell.

    would still be funny though, turning up at a lan party with that under your arm. :D

    jebus

    9,800.00 JPY = 77.3228 EUR

    Japan Yen Euro

    cardboard box = .3c
    selotape = .4c
    labour = .74c

    profit = €75.88 :)

    buying a cardboard box from the Japanese for 77.32 Euro
    Priceless =)

    now why didn't i think of that.....

    ah but that's no fun, for casemodding ya need a jigsaw, hammer, a welding device of some sort :), a drill, and chainsaw (depends on what ya want to do with it ;) )

    the powertools are the fun part, oh and i almost forgot, an angle grinder

    Don't know why people assume cardboard boxes are cheap. A simple triple walled cardboard shipping crate can set you back €10 and that doesn't have all the fancy furniture that you need for a PC case.
