Surround sound - centre speaker not working??

I really want to know why my centre speaker dosn't work. i have a set of creative 5100 and all but the centre speaker works. why is this?? :confused:

Have you tried swapping one of the other satellite speakers to centre position?

Are you using them with a PC sound card? Which one, and does it support centre speaker?

Is the cable detachable from speaker, and if it is, try swapping with another.

The centre/subwoofer jack on most sound cards can also be set to act as a digital in/out. Have you checked your settings to make sure that the jack is set correctly and that the centre level is turned up?
