Fixing Dented Alloys

    Is it possible to get dents taken out of alloys ?
    collected one on each front wheel after hitting some kind of trench while driving thorugh a flood on friday, Damn renault and their 17" low profile laguna wheels, just not made for this country !

    It's certainly possible to repair alloy wheels and there are lots of specialists that do this in the UK. However, I don't know of anyone in this country that does it. You'll have to ask around or maybe search on google for alloy wheel + refurbish + ireland.

    Renault no longer supply the Laguna with those 17" Silverstone wheels. From 02 onwards, Lagunas have been sold with 16 inch alloys plus higher profile tyres. I enquired about upgrading the 16 inchers on my car to 17" to be told that they were no longer available. Reason being that people were coming back to the garages every week with broken wheels from the sh1te Irish roads :rolleyes:

    theres two places that fix dented and scratched alloys in navan so i'm sure theres places all over the country

    I always seem to see add for guys who refurbish alloys anytime I'm in a tyre centre. (ie Kwik fit, advance etc)

    Try your local one.
