    right i've been looking/waiting for this card for a long time.
    these cards are meant to be the best 9800XT out there.
    so i shopped around and this is what i came up with...

    Asus Radeon 9800XT 256MB DDR
    > 652.96 inc. VAT (From Komplett Click Link twice to work)

    Asus Radeon 9800XT 256MB DDR
    > 582.38 inc. VAT (From Overclockersuk)

    Asus Radeon 9800XT 256MB DDR
    > 591.79 inc. VAT (From Overclock.co.uk)

    All Prices inc. VAT and excl. Shipping

    shipping prices from each company

    Komplett.ie............ € 9.99 Parcelforce 2-3 day delivery

    OCUK................... £22.00 Parcelforce 2 day delivery

    overclock.co.uk..... £18.50 Business Post Ireland only

    now for the part that matters who is the cheapest in euros incl. delivery

    Komplett.ie = € 662.95
    Ocuk = € 619.52
    Overclock.co.uk = € 632.56

    Well there you have it after a short shopping around i fouve the card is € 43.43 cheaper in england and that takes in the fact the the euro is well weaker than the GBP.

    All Calulations were made by www.xe.com with the €/£ rate set at .696069

    Hope this helps some people as it certainly did for me and i know where i'm getting my XT card from

    €600+ on ANY graphics card is pure madness imo! :ninja:

    Get a non pro 9800, voltmod, softmod, and attach a huge heatsink = 9800XT hee hee! :D

    ^Thats what I did!!! Big Copper Ramsinks and an extra Fan pointed at the GPU.

    Even better, I got my 9800np for 200euro, brand new.

    256mb Ram is nice, but not essential. Yet.

    WHAT? Wait a second, REALLY?

    Are they mad?

    yes the feature is called overdrive which comes with the latest ATi drivers which allows you to overclock your gfx card without damaging it and if it does happened to get damaged they will replace it because you don't void the warrenty.

    this is only available on the XT range of cards though

    i thought it was more the drivers deciding based on system temps and such whether it can push it past its rated specs. i don't think the overclock is fantastic which they are offering and also didn't seem to make much difference in the bench's i've seen
