Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i think that the idea of using the recycle wheelie bins in ireland is great. but why is it that the bins are only collected once a month?? by the time my bin is collected its usually overflowing! when are they going to increase the collections?

I don't live in recycling area, but, my understanding is that you can get extra bins for refuse, so long as you pay for said bin.

I could be wrong... anybody any better information?

the way the recycling effort works is that you have your normal wheelie bin that gets collected as per usual and a recycling wheelie bin that only gets collected once a month.

i didnt realise that they havnt implimented this everywhere yet. even more to moan about!!

im in dcu and there are designated bins for recycling. But i remember reading that a lot of co. councils dont recycle the materials in therecycle bins at all, it just goes teh same way as all the other rubbish. Does anyone know if its the same in dcu/dublin

It would be real scandal stuff if it was true

You could try using F.O.I. to check it out

It seems that there is more than a grain of truth in your last post so far as the Dublin area is concerned:(
