Just watched Alexander directors cut, what a load of horse ****. I didnt see it in the cinema and i didnt think it could have been as poor as the reviews but sadly it was. I didnt like the irish macidonians accents, and it just ranted on in places. A dissapointment for Oliver Stone.

    Oh well. :(

I still have to watch that.
I watched "dare mo shiranai" last night, excellent film, although it didnt explain what happened in the end. Still though id give it a good 7 or 8 out of 10.

    The Fog

25 years old, and still a fantastic film. Not least for proving that you can have a horror film in which a total of 6 people get killed and still scare the crap out of the audience.

    The Hostage with brucie willis.

Way to confusing and over the top to be good

Scarface - My first time seeing it and I was disappointed tbh. Had always heard people saying how great it was. Has some good moments and some nice Pacino quotes but apart from that I was unimpressed. It's far too long as well.

    Watched three yesterday actually:

Good Morning Vietnam - Keep forgetting how good it is.
Hero - Saw it before but thought it worth a rewatch - enjoyable.
A Very Long Engagement - This would now be up there as one of my favourites.

    Sympathy For Mr Vengeance.

Oldboy was a better movie then its prequal in Chan-wook Park's Vengeance trilogy, however it is still a great Chan-wook movie. The third in his triligy; Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, should be good, though I have yet to get my hands on it.

It was out in UGC ages ago, before summer. I thought it was okay, nothing amazing. A little too self-consciously twee for my liking.
